An early summer morning Rachel, Alex, and their adorable pup Melvin joined me for a hike up to watch the sunrise from my favorite spot in Devil’s Lake State Park. They danced across the rocky outcropping, shared so many laughs, goofy antics, and puppy kisses as the morning glow ascended. It was such a magical morning made even better with such kind and funny people to spend it with.

Rachel and Alex ended their session with a cool dip in the water at Devil’s Lake. Melvin wasn’t so sure about the water so he watched from the dock and was such a good boy!

The best time, getting coffee at Copper Rock where they had their first date then wandering around Lawrence University. Appleton’s becoming my new favorite city
